Cassette Housings

Gas Phase Filtration

Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC)
AMC filtration utilizes gas-phase filtration, using activated carbon and chemical media. This filtration process removes airborne molecular contaminants (AMC) from the air, primarily in environments where air purity is critical, such as semiconductor manufacturing facilities, laboratories and cleanrooms. AMCs include a broad range of compounds including acids, bases and organic molecules that can adversely affect manufacturing processes and product quality.

Box Filters
AAF box filters remove airborne contaminants to help you protect both your indoor air quality (IAQ) and your building’s equipment. You can address the concerns that matter most, from odor control to reducing specific contaminants. Pleated media options offer a range of carbon filtration. Tough, galvanized steel frames are designed to fit in standard filter housings for easy installation.

Canisters, Cassettes, & Housings
AAF’s gas-phase filtration line includes the SAAF Canister and SAAF Cassettes, both featuring chemical media beds in polymer housings. The cylindrical canister incorporates inner scrims for dust control and easy system integration, while the Cassettes utilize compression-fit technology to ensure leak-free operation without adhesives. Both solutions effectively remove various gases in commercial and industrial environments.

Chemical Media
AAF offers a wide selection of chemical media for tailoring a filtration solution for most commercial and industrial systems. Non-toxic carbon pellets can be engineered to target specific pollutants such as ammonia, chlorine, reactive compounds and acid gasses. Many of these media are designed to perform well even in extreme environments. Low-pressure drop and high adsorptive capacity promote efficient performance.

HEGA Filters
AAF offers High Efficiency Gas Adsorber (HEGA) filtration to filter gaseous contaminants from airstreams through a process of adsorption. Typically used by the nuclear industry, HEGA systems are often installed in a walk-in bank. The HEGA system’s adsorber must be able to provide a 99.9% minimum mechanical efficiency.

Panel Filters
AAF panel filters provide easy-to-use carbon filtration to remove odors and other gaseous pollutants from indoor air. These are a low-maintenance, cost-effective option to loose-filled tray systems. Bonded carbon panel filters eliminate settling and have a high carbon surface to help provide economical performance and cleaner air.

Pleated Filters

V-Bank Filters
AAF offers V-bank filters that match high-efficiency filtration with a larger media surface area than a standard box filter. The design reduces the system’s overall pressure drop and can extend the life of the filter. These filters provide excellent capacity in a relatively lightweight product.
High Purity (HEPA) Equipment

HEPA Filter Holding Frames
These permanent holding frames are designed for easy assembly of filter banks in various sizes and applications. Alignment holes are factory drilled and welded construction creates a long-lasting frame that resists corrosion. AAF uses a gel seal to help protect against bypass leakage.

HEPA Side Access Housings
Quality housings can help ensure that a filter system is as efficient as its individual filters. AAF has designed side access housings that accommodate all gasket-seal HEPA filters. The hinged-access doors are easy to service with latches that are adjustable to provide an airtight seal.

Supply Hood FFU Hard Ceiling Frames

Side Access Housings

Universal Holding Frames & Latches
AAF frames and latches are available in a wide range of sizes for use individually or in combinations to suit virtually any filter bank configuration. Durable, galvanized-steel frames use a gasket to create a proper seal between the frame and filter, minimizing bypass of dirty air. Latches are so easy to use that a simple twist releases the filter. Plated in zinc, the latches are designed to provide years of service under demanding conditions.

AAF invented the bag-style filter and has continued innovating ever since. Options are available for a wide range of environments, from mining and industrial applications to healthcare and hospitality.

Box Filters
The first high-efficiency box filter was invented — by AAF — 60 years ago. Today we’ve advanced these filters to provide a high level of protection in a small footprint. These box filters can reduce fine contaminants in critical applications and protect against small particles that carry viruses and bacteria. The space-saving design helps reduce costs of shipping, storage and handling.

High-Temperature Filters
AAF uses durable, heat-resistant materials in filters specially designed for high-temperature environments. These filters remove airborne contaminants to protect processes that use hot air, including food processing and photography. Components are made of materials that stand up to high temperatures. Pleated Filters

V-Bank Filters
AAF offers V-Bank filters that extend the surface area of a standard filter without increasing the filter size. High dust-holding capacity allows a longer filter life to reduce maintenance time and cost. Our V-bank filters are suitable for many applications, including green building projects.
Engine Air Intake Filtration
